European Tree Frog (Hyla Arborea)

A European Tree Frog on a Sleeve

This European Tree Frog looks a bit surprised, probably because it is the middle of November and they can still be active. We are having a warm stretch of weather in Serbia this month. Saturday we were up at the Rusanda Spa Park in Vojvodina, and one of the bird enthusiasts on the trip found this frog on a tree in the preserve on the grounds of the hotel.

The European Tree Frog is an endangered in Western Europe but not in other parts of their range. They are found all throughout Europe and into western Asia. This is the first I’ve found.
