This wild flower was out in force during our trip to the Tara National Park. Anywhere we walked in the woods, this was the most common flower we saw.

The Wood Anemone is native to Europe and in my research I learned that the leaves are poisonous. I also noticed in the morning, the flowers fold up and later in the day, they open. the Wood Anemone covered large areas of the forest floor.
